Rene Erazo is a San Gabriel Valley artist who describes himself as a "dedicated artist that never stops drawing and innovating new things." Erazo studied animation at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut where he graduated in 2002. Since then he has been providing artistic services to companies "in need of an individual to help make their visions become reality," as he puts it.  Over the years he has learned how to develop designs for products such as toys, packaging, cartoon characters, collectibles, and other marketable products. Although he was successful in his work with the design industry, Erazo decided to take a different approach to "share what I do best."

Erazo says that after trying "all sorts of outlets to satisfy my desire to create," he realizes he loves "designing new fun cartoon characters more than anything else." He says he “I want to embrace the inner love that I have for cartoon characters" and share that love for cartoons with aspiring artists. He will be doing just that with a new book he has been creating titled "ONE-TOON-THREE", a step by step book on cartoon character design.

The new book is due out later this year and will be available for purchase online. It will include over 45 new characters, showing all the steps that are important in the development of new cartoon characters. Erazo says "I hope my book helps reach into the minds of artists in a way that will expand their cartooning and visualization skills as well as their observation and practical skills."
